The forklift wheel hub is a core load-bearing component that supports the tire and connects to the axle. Its selection and maintenance directly impact the stability and safety of the forklift. Load-bearing and power transmission connects the axle and tire, bearing the vehicle's load and transmitting driving and braking forces to the ground. The rear steering hub also supports the steering system. The rim is the metal frame that secures the tire. It is categorized by structure as split (for small-tonnage forklifts), semi-deep groove, and flat-bottom wide rim (for heavy-duty vehicles). The hub body is connected to the axle via bearings. The front hub is rigidly fixed to the axle shaft, while the rear hub accommodates the steering knuckle. Brake drum integration: Some designs integrate the brake drum with the hub for improved braking response.
