Forklift Spare Chain

Forklift spare chain refers to the specialized chain assembly used to transmit lifting power within the forklift mast system, forming a core component of the working mechanism. Forged from high-strength manganese steel, it is wear-resistant and impact-resistant. The ball bearing design ensures smooth chain rotation, preventing cargo from swaying. Secured to the mast rails via adjusting bolts, it forms a closed-loop transmission system with the fork carriage and sprocket. Regular chain tension adjustment is required to prevent chain detents. The chain acts as a transmission link, connecting the fork carriage to the lift cylinder, converting the hydraulic cylinder's thrust into vertical movement for the forks. It serves as the power transmission medium for the mast system. Components typically include a lifting chain, sprocket, adjusting bolt, and connecting pin. Some designs incorporate a rotating ball bearing mechanism for 360° steering flexibility.
