Forklift Spare Cylinders

Forklift spare cylinders are cylindrical metal parts that guide the linear reciprocating motion of a piston within the cylinder. They are a core component of the forklift engine's valvetrain, primarily used to convert compressed air or the heat energy from fuel combustion into mechanical energy to power the forklift's powertrain. In a forklift, the cylinder controls the flow of gas (such as air or fuel mixture) through the movement of the piston, ensuring efficient engine operation and supporting the forklift's core functions such as lifting and handling. The main body has a smooth inner wall, often made of high-carbon steel or aluminum alloy, with a hard chrome plating to resist wear and corrosion. The piston bears the force of air pressure, while the piston rod transmits the mechanical force, often made of high-carbon steel with hard chrome plating or stainless steel to ensure pressure and corrosion resistance. The end cap contains inlet and outlet ports and a buffer mechanism, and seals (dynamic and static) prevent gas leakage and ensure airtightness. In principle, compressed air pushes the piston back and forth, converting this into linear mechanical energy, which is used to drive the forklift's hydraulic pumps, valves, and other actuators, achieving precise control.
