Forklift Hydraulic Clutch Assembly
The forklift hydraulic clutch assembly is a core component of the forklift's transmission system. It connects and disconnects power between the engine and transmission through hydraulic control, ensuring smooth vehicle starts, smooth gear shifting, and preventing transmission overload. It consists of a flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch cover. The flywheel is connected to the engine crankshaft, while the pressure plate rotates synchronously with the flywheel through the clutch cover, transmitting power. The clutch is inlaid with friction material and connected to the transmission input shaft via a spline, transmitting power when under pressure. Compression springs are evenly distributed between the clutch cover and pressure plate, providing compression to hold the driven plate against the flywheel. The master cylinder converts pedal force into hydraulic pressure; the slave cylinder receives oil pressure to push the release fork; the hydraulic pipes/hoses deliver hydraulic oil; and the release bearing, under pressure, pushes the pressure plate to release the driven plate. The compression springs ensure a tight fit between the pressure plate and driven plate, ensuring engine power is transmitted to the transmission. It is recommended to regularly check the hydraulic oil's tightness and replace it to match the original manufacturer's specifications (such as friction plate thickness and oil pipe pressure rating).
