Forklift Fuel Injection Pump
A forklift fuel injection pump (also known as a "high-pressure fuel pump") is a core component in a diesel forklift engine's fuel system. It boosts low-pressure diesel to a high pressure of 10-20 MPa, precisely controlling the injection quantity and timing based on engine operating conditions, directly impacting power output, fuel efficiency, and emissions. A precision plunger-sleeve assembly compresses the fuel, raising the 0.3-0.5 MPa low-pressure diesel delivered from the tank to a high pressure of 10-20 MPa, meeting the requirements of direct injection. The plunger's tilted groove is offset from the intake port to achieve fuel cutoff and pressure boosting. Linked to the speed governor, the pump dynamically adjusts fuel flow based on engine load, increasing fuel delivery during heavy lifting and limiting fuel flow during idling to prevent stalling. The camshaft's timing of the plunger ensures precise fuel injection into the combustion chamber before top dead center on the compression stroke. This component is crucial for efficient diesel forklift operation and plays a crucial role in ensuring power stability under heavy loads.
