The engine injector is a core precision component in the forklift diesel engine's fuel system. Its function is to precisely atomize and inject high-pressure fuel into the combustion chamber, directly impacting the forklift's power performance, fuel economy, and emissions. The fuel atomization and injection control receives pulse signals from the ECU (Electronic Control Unit), actuating a solenoid valve within milliseconds to atomize the 10-20 MPa high-pressure diesel delivered by the fuel pump into micron-sized particles and inject them into the cylinder. By adjusting the injection pulse width (power-on duration), the fuel injection volume is precisely controlled to adapt to varying forklift load conditions (e.g., incremental injection is required for heavy lifting). Optimizing the spray cone angle and penetration distance ensures even fuel distribution throughout the combustion chamber, improving combustion efficiency.
