The Ankai HFF6122GS03EV is a pure electric double-decker city bus, measuring 12.45 meters in length, 2.55 meters in width, and 3.995 meters in height. It features a low-floor design (one-step) and airbag suspension, with a rated capacity of 40-68 seats (expandable to 99). The bus is equipped with a TZ488XSPE340WH motor produced by Beijing Pretley Motor Drive Technology Co., Ltd., boasting a peak power of 230kW and a top speed of 69km/h. It is equipped with a Zhuhai Yinlong lithium titanate battery pack (129.17kWh capacity) and supports external charging.

Assembly and Interior

The bus adopts a fully monocoque structure with a three-axle layout and a wheelbase of 5600mm + 1470mm. It has a curb weight of 18.5 tons and a gross vehicle mass of 25 tons. Safety features include a WABCO ABS system (model 446 003 416 0) and a body armor design that meets European standards. The interior features a panoramic sunroof and large picture windows on the upper deck, orange and white upholstered leather seats, and personalized features such as integrated cup holders and a table tray, making it a perfect choice for city sightseeing.

Features

Sixty vehicles of this model were deployed on Beijing's public transportation system in 2016. However, due to a high failure rate (especially in heavy rain) and a shortage of repair parts, some vehicles were withdrawn from service. Its distinctive design once served as a city tourism icon, but this model has now been discontinued.
