Transmission Fluid Filter

The transmission fluid filter is usually located inside the transmission's oil pan. Its main function is to filter metal shavings and other impurities from the automatic transmission fluid (ATF), preventing blockage of valve body oil passages, avoiding shift shocks, and thus protecting the transmission and extending its service life. In dusty environments, it is recommended to check or replace it approximately every 50,000 kilometers. 

Steering Gear Oil Filter

The oil filter in a steering system (such as a hydraulic steering system) has the core function of filtering out contaminants from the hydraulic oil, ensuring a clean supply of hydraulic oil to the steering pump and steering valves, and guaranteeing smooth steering operation and system reliability. It typically forms part of the hydraulic lubrication system along with components such as the hydraulic oil tank and pump.
