The bulldozer steering pump is the core component of the hydraulic steering system, responsible for converting the engine's mechanical energy into hydraulic energy to drive the steering hydraulic motor and achieve steering control of the bulldozer. The steering pump is connected to the engine transfer case, drawing oil from the rear axle housing. After filtering, the oil is distributed proportionally (e.g., 3:1) to the steering valve and brake circuit by a flow divider valve. The working pressure of the steering valve is ensured by a sequence valve (e.g., 1.25MPa). The steering hydraulic motor rotates forward or reverse according to the command of the pilot valve, achieving left and right steering of the bulldozer.
