The excavator throttle motor is the core actuator controlling engine air intake. It directly responds to commands from the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to optimize fuel efficiency and power output by adjusting the throttle opening. The power control hub receives electrical signals from the ECU, driving a worm gear mechanism or gear drive system to precisely control the throttle flap angle. It automatically adjusts the bypass air duct opening during idle conditions to maintain a stable engine speed. Its integrated design links with the throttle position sensor and idle switch to form a closed-loop control system, providing real-time feedback on opening data to the ECU. Its dust-proof and sealed structure makes it suitable for high-dust environments found in mining sites, but regular cleaning of carbon deposits is required.
