It plays a particularly crucial role in the high-speed idle and return strokes of large excavators. The precharge pump primarily reduces the capacity requirements of the high-pressure oil pump. By rapidly replenishing oil from the tank to the hydraulic cylinder, it shortens the idle stroke time and improves operational efficiency. During the pressurization phase, it blocks oil backflow. During the return stroke, pilot pressure oil opens a valve to quickly drain the oil from the hydraulic cylinder back to the tank, reducing energy waste.
