Excavator Oil Filter

An excavator oil filter is a core component of the engine's lubrication system, primarily used to filter impurities (such as dust, metal particles, and carbon deposits) from the oil, ensuring clean oil and reducing wear on moving parts, thereby protecting the engine and extending its service life. It primarily consists of filter paper, a sealing ring, and a bypass valve. Its working principle is to filter impurities through the gaps between the filter paper, allowing clean oil to flow back to the center pipe. If the filter paper becomes clogged, the bypass valve opens, preventing oil supply interruptions and engine damage. Filtering mechanism: The oil pump pumps oil through the check valve into the filter element, where impurities are intercepted by the filter paper, allowing clean oil to flow out the outlet. If clogged, the bypass valve automatically opens as an emergency measure. Its core function: Maintaining oil purity, reducing friction, preventing oil line blockage and sludge formation, and improving fuel economy.
