Working Principle

The differential pressure switch contains a diaphragm or piston structure. When the pressure difference exceeds a preset value (e.g., 356 Pa), the diaphragm or piston moves, triggering a mechanical or electrical signal, thereby illuminating the dashboard warning light or sending a signal to the engine control unit, prompting the driver to clean or replace the filter element.

Prevention of Faults: Timely alarms can prevent insufficient fuel supply caused by complete filter clogging, leading to problems such as reduced engine power and difficulty starting.
