Working Principle

Oil pumps are mostly gear pumps, composed of a driving gear and a driven gear. When the engine is running, the camshaft drives the drive gear to rotate. The gear throws the oil from the oil inlet to the oil outlet, creating a low-pressure oil intake. The oil pressure at the oil outlet increases and is forced into various lubrication points to achieve forced lubrication.
